Craig Bankhead

Coach Craig Bankhead is a dedicated public school history teacher and seasoned basketball coach with over 20 years of experience in high school athletics across Arkansas and Texas. His coaching career includes head coaching roles at W.T. White High School (Dallas, TX) and Gainesville High School (Gainesville, TX), as well as a state championship assistant coach position with the legendary Little Rock Central High School boys’ basketball team. He has also served as an assistant coach for the W.T. White girls’ basketball program.

In addition to his coaching background, Coach Bankhead is actively involved in the basketball community as a part-time AAU and adult/rec league official. His passion for mentorship, teaching, and player development continues to drive his commitment to excellence both on and off the court.

Coach Bankhead is proud to support the growth of the Next Level Basketball Academy (NLBA) and is excited to help the program reach its fullest potential in uplifting youth and serving communities through the power of basketball.
